This means they are able to support us with highly competitive rates and the most comprehensive cover.
What if I wish to cancel the insurance before the end of the agreed term?
If your car is disposed of or is an insurance write off during your contract term we will be happy to cancel your policy and monthly direct debit without charge.* If you simply wish to cancel the policy during its contract period, we will make an administration charge which is the equivalent of our lost commission for the a 1 year period. * Please note that some insurers may charge you for cancelling your policy if there has been a fault claim resulting in the car being written off. Why do you not ask for proof of no claims bonus?
Our policy is net rated. That means that we give everybody who can meet our criteria the discount equivalent to maximum bonus. If you already have maximum bonus then you can keep it to use on another car. When you come to the end of our contract we will be happy to confirm your no claims bonus for the period you have been with us. You are free to add that to your existing bonus or keep it separate to use on another car.
Are we being charged to pay by direct debit?
Although your credit agreement shows a charge we have reduced the premium by the equivalent amount to take this into account, effectively giving you interest free instalments! The reason for doing this is our administration costs are greatly reduced by you paying on a monthly basis. Can I cancel my existing policy with somebody else and fix it with you?
Yes, we are happy to cover you as long as you have at least one year to run on your car contract.
What if I have more than one fault claim on the policy?
We allow you to have one fault claim within the first 24 month period. If you have more than 1 fault claim we will reduce your discount as follows 1 fault claim – No change * 2 fault claims – Discount reduced from 65% to 40% * 3 fault claims – discount reduced from 65% to 0% * *Please note that in all instances your premium will not be effected into the next renewal date.
